Brendan Valdes Profile
In January 2026, Brendan’s life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with primary mediastinal lymphoma. He underwent six rounds of chemotherapy and is now in remission!! His own journey has deepened his commitment to helping children and families facing similar challenges. He hopes to use his platform to make a difference and bring moments of happiness and relief during an incredibly difficult time.
When Brendan was given the opportunity to partner with a charity in 2021, he knew Supra Strong was the charity he wanted to be a part of. Brendan’s sister, Bailey, was on the same water polo team Ian Supra had played for, and that is how Brendan became acquainted with the Supra Strong Foundation.
Brendan grew up in Central Florida and spent many years golfing at the Orange Tree Golf Club in Dr. Phillips.
Golf
During Brendan’s junior and senior seasons at Auburn, Brendan competed in the PGA Tour University Program. He finished 2nd place which earned him full status on the Korn Ferry Tour for the remainder of 2025 season.
Playing less than ½ the season, Brendan still finished in 96th place on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. His top finish was T3 at the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. He also earned full status for the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season with a 1st place finish on the PGA TOUR University Total Points List (combined total of FedExCup and Korn Ferry Tour points among Nos. 2-25 from the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking).
During his inaugural professional season, Brendan was also fortunate to be invited to play in three PGA Tour events and he made the cut in all three. His best finish was T20 at the 3M Open.
Brendan was unable to play in the 2026 season due to a health problem but is currently working hard to be ready for the start of the 2027 season!
